Are You Stupid or What?

Recently I noticed that AOC came out with another one of her brilliant ideas:

When the lockdown is over we should all REVOLT and refuse to go back to work! (I paraphrase…)

I sometimes ask myself, “Why are these people so stupid? Why do they want to destroy the system that supports them?” Perhaps they are not so stupid so much as so ideological, although in the case of this poor woman either could be the case. I think ideological motivation is the simpler answer, and thus according to Occam’s razor it should be preferred.

Due to overwhelming historical failure of all Marxist experiments, we often forget that Marxism calls for revolution to overthrow the capitalist system so that a Utopian Communist system can be erected upon the cadaver of the old capitalist foundations. We just don’t want to accept that there are still people out there who follow this doctrine, but as we can see they do indeed exist.

The problem with these revolutions is that they often fail, and even when they succeed the Communist dictatorships of the proletariat don’t come out of the revolution with any broad support or acceptance from the proletariat they are ‘representing’ making it rather difficult for them to radically rearrange society according to their egalitarian schemes. The very people they claim to defend often hate them more than anyone else…
