Radical Islam is not caused by Socio-Economic Injustice

The old guard of hard core Marxists that are now in control of the Leftist political movements in the West as well as the Western bastions of “higher education” retain their romantic conviction that everything that is bad in the world is caused by “economic and social injustice” and therefore can be addressed by Marxist ideas of restoring “economic and social justice”. They believe this in the same way that all fanatics cling to their faith even in the face of the most obvious facts to the contrary.

In the case of the threat of Radical Islam, these old guard Marxists cling to their belief that if we can just provide better economic opportunities and perhaps better education and hygiene to the bedraggled Islamic societies and nations across the globe the threat can and will be averted. This completely ignores the basic facts involving Radical Islam, an attitude the Left tends to take in all matters. They are convinced that the best policy is to ignore facts that are contrary to Leftist political convictions and eventually they will just go away.
