The West is Doomed by its Corrupt and Stupid Leaders

There are four types of people in the world:

1. Smart and Honest — a nation with a lot of these people is blessed.
2. Smart and Corrupt — a nation can suffer these people because they will self-limit the damage they do because of the desire to avoid ‘killing the goose that lays the golden egg’.
3. Stupid and Honest — a nation with a lot of these people will go into decline, but there will be a limit on the extent of the damage they can do since even though they will do stupid things due to mistake or manipulation, the harm will not be out of malice — once they realize that what they are doing is wrong they will probably stop.
4. Stupid and Corrupt — a nation under the control of these people is doomed. These people will steal everything they can and they will be unable to stop themselves since they are unable to comprehend consequences — they will only act on evil and malicious short-term emotions.

A healthy society will have a balanced mix of all four types of people. Whatever the nature and structure of the government (democracy, republic, oligarchy, aristocracy, king, etc.) in a healthy society the top three types will join together to prevent the Stupid and Corrupt from achieving any status and power since the harm they can cause is limitless.
