What might a post-Divorce USA Look like?
After reading this article (‘This map shows how the US really has 11 separate ‘nations’ with entirely different cultures’, https://www.businessinsider.com/the-11-nations-of-the-united-states-2015-7), I started thinking: How many countries might develop if the USA finally just ups and files for divorce?
Two or Three? I think it could be beneficial for all for the USA to break up into 6 or more different countries.
The Left Coast could start spreading the joys of Socialist Utopia that have begun in California and move up the coast to Oregon and Washington without those pesky knuckle dragging fly-over sorts bothering them.
The North-East could create their own vision of Socialist Democracy with a large hovering government nanny telling them what to eat and how to live their lives — best of luck!
The Deep South and the Southwest could get on with baking pies, comparing their latest firearms purchases, and arguing about which BBQ is best.
The Midwest could compete with the Mideast (the US Mideast) on who handles cold weather the best.
And the Rocky Mountain region could get on with hiking, biking, riding horses, skiing and all around fun stuff.
Why stay together just to be miserable???? We could all be so much happier with an amicable divorce!
